Pilates, TRX studio opens in Carlsborg
CARLSBORG — A new pilates and TRX fitness studio is opening in the Sequim area.
Perfect Balance, located at 151 Hooker Road, offers pilates machines and TRX suspension training.
Owner/manager Gina Senz will offer group classes, semiprivate classes (two people) and personal training at her studio.
Perfect Balance opened March 3 but will have an official grand opening Saturday, May 3, which is also Pilates Day.
Yoga classes will be added soon, plus special events and fitness/nutrition retreats will be announced.

SEQUIM — The Dungeness River Audubon Center will host “Is My Estate Plan in a Tangle?” at 4 p.m. and again at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 24.
The seminar is at River Center in Railroad Bridge Park, 2151 W. Hendrickson Road.
The eighth in a series of free semi-annual financial planning seminars, attorney Jan Tierney will lead and offer tips and insights for helping to untangle oft-confusing estate and financial planning questions.

Casino planned
OMAK — The Colville Confederated Tribes plan to build a $40 million casino resort near Omak.
Tribal Chairman Michael Finley said it would be twice the size of the current Mill Bay Casino in Manson and replace the tribes’ Okanogan Bingo Casino.
Economic development officials said they see it as destination resort that would serve as a conference center for the Okanagan area.
Finley says the hotel could serve Canadians who already account for most of the customers at the Okanogan casino.
