CLALLAM BAY — Clallam Transit bus passes can now be purchased at the Clallam Bay branch of the North Olympic Library System.
The monthly passes will be available by the first of each month, according to a press release.
Adult base passes cost $36 per month; the adult premium passes cost $54.
Reduced base passes cost $18 per month while reduced premium passes cost $36.
Reduced rate passes are available to riders who are aged 6-19 years, older than 65 years or disabled.
Base passes allow riders to use any bus except route 14, Forks; route 30, Sequim; or route 123, the Strait Shot.
Base pass holders must pay an additional 50 cents to ride the Forks or Sequim routes or an additional $5 to ride to or from Bainbridge Island on the Strait Shot.
Premium pass holders may ride any route within the county without additional cost but must pay $5 to ride the Strait Shot.
