The burn ban has been lifted in both Clallam and Jefferson counties today.
Outdoor debris burning is still restricted in urban growth areas under state law, according to a press release from George Bailey, Clallam County fire marshal.
Burning may be closed due to air stagnation or poor environmental conditions as determined by the state Department of Ecology, the Olympic Region Clean Air Authority or the state Department of Natural Resources, according to an East Jefferson Fire Rescue press release.
For more information, residents may contact their local fire district or county health department.
