BRINNON — The Brinnon School District’s maintenance and operations replacement levy edged closer to passing after 54 additional ballots were counted Wednesday.
In fact, the tally was just enough to give it a two-vote margin of victory, should results stand.
At the end of counting Tuesday night, the measure was failing by a two-vote margin.
At the end of counting Wednesday, 325 ballots, or 60.5 percent, favored the two-year replacement levy, which must pass by 60 percent of the total vote.
In opposition to the $463,041 measure were 212 votes, or 39.5 percent.
The election will likely not be settled until certification Feb. 14.
