The Compassion Campaign of Clallam County is sponsoring a number of groups to meet, read and discuss “The Twelve Steps to a Compassionate Life” by Karen Armstrong.
There are a number groups planned, meeting at different times, in different locations and on different days of the week to accommodate a variety of schedules.
Groups will meet for one to two hours each week for 12 weeks starting within the next week at the following venues.

Sequim
• 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 1033 N. Barr Road.
• 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.; subsequent meetings will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
• 10:30 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Jan. 9 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave.
Agnew
• 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at the Goodwick residence.
Port Angeles
• 11 a.m. to noon Sunday at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 301 Lopez Ave.
• 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Unity in the Olympics, 2917 E. Myrtle St.
• 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at the Eash residence.
• 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at the Center for Spiritual Living Port Angeles, 254 N. Bagley Creek Road.
• 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at Unity in the Olympics, 2917 E. Myrtle St.
• 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 at the Center for Spiritual Living Port Angeles, 254 N. Bagley Creek Road.
• 10:30 a.m. to noon Thursday, Jan. 10 at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St.
Copies of the book are available at Port Book and News, 104 E. First St., Port Angeles.
They will offer a discount for group members and have also pledged to donate 10 percent of each copy sold to the Boys and Girls Club.
