BLYN — The State Patrol is stepping up its “aggressive driving” enforcement — including the use of more unmarked cars — Deputy Chief Lowell Porter told a small group Monday night at the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribal Center.
“The program is working very well statewide,” Porter said.
“We have 13 more unmarked cars coming because there has been such a response from citizens.
“The community appreciates the effort so the State Patrol will continue investing in it.”
The State Patrol will use an airplane, if necessary, in the fight against aggressive driving, Porter said.
“If that’s what it takes, we’ll do it,” he said.
State Patrol Chief Ronal Serpas was scheduled to attend Monday’s community forum at the tribal center, but was stuck in Walla Walla.
Porter took his place, joined by more than a dozen troopers and Clallam County sheriff’s deputies.
