VOTE NOW IN our online photo contest to find the best Halloween costumes on the North Olympic Peninsula.
There are 25 entries vying in each category — Kids and Adults — for your vote.
There will be first-, second- and third-place winners in each of the two categories based on the most online votes — with prizes courtesy of the contest’s sponsors.
Plus the first-place winners will be published in the three newspapers hosting this contest — Peninsula Daily News, Sequim Gazette and Forks Forum
How to vote
Voting is easy. Go to http://assets.peninsuladailynews.com/images/upickem/halloween2014/halloween2014.php?landing
You can also get there by going to www.peninsuladailynews.com and look for the multi-color “Costume Contest” button in the middle of the webpage (below “Hot Links” and just left of “Peninsula Poll.”)
Pick the contest category you’d like to vote in — Adults or Kids.
If you’re not already registered, you’ll need to click on “Register Now,” and follow the simple steps to sign in before you can vote.
You can vote in both categories.
You can vote once a day in each category.
Voting closes on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 5 p.m.
Our thanks to the contest sponsors — Elwha River Casino ($25 slot card), First Federal ($25 in Port Angeles Downtown Dollars), Bedford’s Soda (an entire case of its root beer) and $25 gift certificates from William Shore Memorial Pool, Fiesta Jalisco Mexican Restaurant and Domino’s Pizza.
