Award-winning author to speak at Soroptimist meeting Friday

PORT ANGELES — Local author Kate McDermott will address a meeting of the Soroptimist International of Port Angeles — Noon Club at noon Friday.

The weekly luncheon is held in Joshua’s Restaurant, 113 Del Guzzi Drive.

McDermott is the award-winning author of “Home Cooking with Kate McDermott.”

The meeting is open to the public.

Lunch is available for purchase.

There is a $4 per person minimum charge for attending which covers beverages and the venue.
