PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles Community Players will hold tryouts for “Moon Over Buffalo,” their spring comedy, at 7 p.m. this coming Monday at the Community Playhouse, 1235 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
Performers who want to audition but can’t make it Monday are encouraged to phone director Barbara Frederick at 360-452-2998.
Frederick is seeking four men and four women for this play, the story of a theater company expecting a major filmmaker to be in the audience.
This movie director wants one of the actors for a role in his film, but he wants to see him on stage first. Antics ensue.
The cast members will need to learn about fencing, as in swordplay, so a coach will be provided.
Rehearsals will begin in mid-February for “Moon Over Buffalo,” whose run will go from April 17-May 3 on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons.
Copies of the play, written by Ken Ludwig, are available to read at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., and the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.
