PORT ANGELES — Cori Carlton will present “Slug University” at noon Thursday.
The lecture is part of the Green Thumb Garden Tips series held in the county commissioners meeting room in the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St.
The free lecture series is sponsored by Washington State University Clallam County Extension’s Master Gardener Program.
Carlton is the program coordinator for the Thurston County Master Gardener program.
She will be discussing native and non-native slugs and explaining strategies for getting slugs to work for gardeners instead of against them.
Attendees are welcome to bring a lunch to eat during the presentation.
