PORT ANGELES — Today is the final day of the Olympic Peninsula Senior Games, which drew a record number of competitors this year.
At least 400 people registered to compete in the 17 events of the fifth edition of the annual three days of athletic contests for people 50 and older.
Spectators can pick up schedules at the Port Angeles Senior Center, 328 E. Seventh St.
Scheduled today are:
• Pickleball: Roosevelt School, 106 Monroe Road, Port Angeles, 8 a.m.
• Kayaking: Hollywood Beach, Port Angeles, 9 a.m.
• Tennis: Erickson Park, 300 S. Race St., Port Angeles, 9 a.m.
• Track and field: Port Angeles High School track, 304 E. Park Ave., 9 a.m.
• Slowpitch softball: Shane Park, S. G St.,10 a.m.
• Bowling: Laurel Lanes, 108 W. Eighth St., Port Angeles, noon.
• Pinochle: championship, Clallam County Family YMCA, 302 S. Francis St., Port Angeles, 2 p.m.
The games attract competitors from around the state and Canada.
