PORT TOWNSEND –– An “Enchanted Evening” of melody, magic and mystery will be performed by mezzo-soprano Sydney Keegan at the August Candlelight Concert on Thursday at 7 p.m.
The concert will be at Trinity United Methodist Church, 609 Taylor St.
A $10 suggested donation will be used to further the church’s music and historic Victorian restoration programs.
Keegan will be joined by guest artists David Schroeder, Roger Davis, Diana Bond, Anne Marie Gibson and Blaine Lewis.
Helen Lauritzen will accompany the singers on the piano.
The program will open with a collection of French, German and American art songs and arias, and the concert continues with selections from Gilbert and Sullivan’s “The Sorcerer” and “HMS Pinafore.”
Gibson, who has performed in several Candlelight Concerts, will reprise the duet “Phantom of the Opera” with Lewis.

Singers of summer
PORT TOWNSEND — The Summertime Singers, directed by Colleen Johnson, will present a second concert of two requiems, one by Gabriel Fauré and one by John Rutter.
The concert will be held in the Fellowship Hall of Quimper Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 2333 San Juan Ave., at 7:30 p.m. Saturday.
Soloists for this performance include Shannan Kirchner-Holmes, Katherine Ottaway, Linda Bach, Brian Goldstein and Jonathan Stafford.
Helen Lauritzen will accompany on the piano.
Doors open at 7 p.m.

PORT TOWNSEND –– Actor James Rocco joins singer and actress Carol Swarbrick-Dries and pianist Linda Dowdell at Key City Public Theatre’s “Broadway Music and Memories” series at Key City Playhouse, 419 Washington Ave.
A veteran actor featured in national touring titles like “Spamalot,” “August: Osage County” and “Next to Normal,” Rocco headlines shows at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Mudville brings joy
NORDLAND –– Joy in Mudville brings its eclectic sound stylings to the stage for a concert at Fort Flagler State Park, 10541 Flagler Road, on Saturday.
The trio of Jason Mogi on claw-hammer banjo and guitar, Paul Stehr-Green on bass and Colin Leahy on bodhran and djembe combines influences ranging from old-time bluegrass to jam-band, Motown to rock, funk and blues
The concert begins at 5 p.m. and is free, though donations are accepted.
Boston folks play
PORT ANGELES –– Touring folk duo Sweet Wednesday brings its Boston-based tour to Next Door Gastropub, 113 W. First St., for a free concert at 6 p.m. Sunday.
The combo, awarded for its songwriting in the Great American Song Contest and the Dallas Song Contest, stops by Port Angeles as part of a national tour in support of their new CD “Escaping from the Pale Moonlight.”
