PORT ANGELES — Midnight this Friday is the deadline to submit applications for new art to be installed in the Webster’s Woods Sculpture Park at the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center, 1203 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
The center’s staff will consider new creations and proposals for existing work to be relocated in the park.
Artists — individuals and teams — from across the United States are encouraged to apply.
Chosen artists will receive a $300 stipend and will install their work in Webster’s Woods by mid-June.
Then on June 21 and 22, the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center will hold the free Summer Solstice Art Festival, a celebration of the new arrivals along with an artisans’ market and activities for all ages.
To see the application and find out more, visit PAFAC.org and click on Artist Opportunities.
The center can also be reached at 360-457-3532 and via the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center Facebook page.
