LAKE FOREST PARK — The man accused of firing gunshots into a crowd outside the New Peking China Restaurant in a Sunday-morning melee was arrested by Lake Forest Park police on Monday.
Donald Joseph Turner, 35, was arrested on investigation of first-degree assault and felon in possession of a firearm in connection with the incident at 2614 E. U.S. Highway 101, east of Port Angeles.
No one was hit by the bullets from the semiautomatic weapon, Clallam County Sheriff’s Detective Sgt. Lyman Moores said.
One witness told investigators that he was shot at four times.
Police in Lake Forest Park, about 10 miles northwest of Seattle, acted on probable cause established by the Clallam County Sheriff’s Department.
