PORT ANGELES — The Albert Haller Foundation is accepting applications for 2016 funding of local nonprofit agencies providing services to low-income residents of Clallam County.
Completed applications are due to United Way no later than Friday, July 1.
The maximum that will be given to any one organization this year is $13,000, said Sheila Everett, executive assistant.
Information on the 2016 application process will be offered at a bidder’s conference scheduled at 10 a.m. Friday, June 10 at the Peninsula Behavioral Health multi-purpose room, 118 E. Eighth St., Port Angeles.
Foundation grants are given annually to charitable organizations in Clallam County, with priority to those organizations providing food, housing, clothing, medical care and other programs that might enrich the lives of low-income citizens.
Schools can apply
Schools also can apply for funding of programs that support the progress and needs of disadvantaged children.
The United Way of Clallam County serves as advisor to the Haller Foundation’s board in making recommendations for grant funding.
