PORT TOWNSEND — AAUW Port Townsend seeks nominations for its annual Woman of Excellence award.
Nominations are due Nov. 7.
The award honors women who have contributed significantly to the local community through paid or volunteer work in Jefferson County.
To be eligible, nominees must have resided or worked in Jefferson County for three years and meet the criteria for consideration.
The award will be given by the American Association of University Women-Port Townsend in December.
The Woman of Excellence nomination form and criteria are available on the Honoring Women link at pt-wa.aauw.net.

AAUW Port Townsend and its affiliate, the University Women’s Foundation of Jefferson County, support education and equity through various scholarships and awards, middle school career days and elementary school projects in literacy and math.
