PORT ANGELES — The Olympic Kiwanis Club is accepting donations for its 25th Community Tuna Fish Drive through April 22.
The annual drive’s goal is to collect the equivalent of 25,000 cans of tuna fish for the Port Angeles Food Bank.
Collection barrels are located at all First Federal Bank branches, the Port Angeles Senior and Community Center, the Mount Pleasant IGS, the Naval Elks Lodge, Wal-Mart and the food bank at 402 S. Valley St.
Tuna will also be accepted for any other food bank on the North Olympic Peninsula, designations should be made at the time of donation.
Monetary donations can be made in lieu of canned fish and can be mailed to: C/O the Port Angeles Food Bank, PO Box 1885, Port Angeles, WA 98362.
Monetary donations should be annotated “For Tuna” and will be used to purchase canned tuna or an equivalent protein.
