2019 Boating Season Opens for Sequim Bay Yacht Club

SEQUIM — The Sequim Bay Yacht Club will host a variety of activities for its 2019 Boating Season Opening Day on Sunday, May 5.

There will be an open house from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the clubroom at John Wayne Marina, 2577 W. Sequim Bay Road.

Club members will also offer free rides in a Flying Scot sailing dinghy and power boat rides in Sequim Bay.

For visitors 18 years and older the club will also offer rowing sessions in its quad shells.

The day’s events will conclude with a boat parade at 3 p.m.
