CHIMACUM — About 1,200 Puget Sound Energy customers on Egg and I Road and Swansonville Road north of Chimacum lost electrical power for about two hours this afternoon.
An underground cable failed at about 3 p.m., said MacKenzie McDowell, PSE spokeswoman.
All customers had power restored by 5 p.m., she said.
The company didn’t known on Thursday what caused the power failure.
Many things — such as an animal digging, tree roots or underground movement — could cause such a failure, McDowell said.
