$1,000 scholarships given to six Port Angeles High School seniors

PORT ANGELES — Soroptimist International of Port Angeles — Noon Club awarded $1,000 scholarships to six students at a luncheon May 17 at Joshua’s Restaurant.

Recipients were Port Angeles High School seniors Joelynne Jewell, Nathan Mishler, Joel Wood and Makena Merideth, Lincoln High School senior Kaitlyn Apsey and Jasmine O’Neel from Crescent High School.

The scholarships were funded by sales of the club’s Elegant Gourmet Etc Coupon Books.
