A busy summer of exceptional events awaits at Field Hall, with cirque, jazz, film, comedy, interactive theater and family fun – as well as accessible pricing and a “pay-what-makes-you-happy” model for many events.
On June 8, comedian and science educator Doktor Kaboom! brings his new show Under Pressure on the mainstage for two benefit performances supporting Peninsula Performs! local arts education.
On Aug. 7, Canadian cirque-comedy duo the Kif-Kif Sisters bring their kid-friendly chaos to Field Hall, followed by a joyful vaudeville showcase from The New Old Time Chautauqua on Aug. 10.

Comedy Night host Drew Wilson McGrath returns to the Sunset Lounge for two nights of local comedy featuring Sam Miller and Lynette Manning on June 14 and Adam Pasi and Imani Denae on July 19.
Local artists can take the Sunset Lounge stage during Open Mic Mondays, hosted by Bread & Gravy, or Mic Drop Karaoke with Mike & Darcy Riggan (June 27), or enter to win a Karaoke Competition hosted by Amanda Lynn Bacon of Black Diamond Junction (July 25).
Storytellers are invited to spin a yarn for the 10th Annual Liars Contest with Story People of Clallam County June 12.
Field Hall will host Red Room: A Summer Tribute to David Lynch, screening Eraserhead on June 29, Wild at Heart on July 13, and Blue Velvet onAug. 24, accompanied by themed activities and refreshments.
On July 10, Field Hall presents 100 per cent Totally Improvised Musical in partnership with Peninsula College Drama – a fast-paced, hilarious show created entirely from audience suggestions. Later that month, on July 25, Dr. Lara Starcevich invites guests to slow down and connect through guided conversation in 36 Questions, based on the popular New York Times article 36 Questions to Fall in Love.
Theater lovers can also enjoy Shakespeare at Sunset Aug. 9 and 16, and Shakespeare at Brunch Aug. 10 and 17, an original interactive play written by Denise Winter of Key City Public Theatre and directed by Steve Raider-Ginsburg. A dinner or brunch-cabaret experience, the show will weave together a selection of Shakespeare’s comic and romantic songs and scenes.
The summer season wraps up with two standout performances: international cellist and one-man orchestra Ian Maksin on Aug. 21, and a stripped-down funk and soul set from Lucky and the Locals on Aug. 22.
