PORT HADLOCK — Master gardeners Lys Burden and Nita Wester present “Winter Gardening: Basics” at 6 p.m. Tuesday.
The free class, sponsored by the Jefferson County Food Bank Growers Network, will stream on Zoom.
Burden and Wester will discuss practices to improve winter harvests including soil preparation; varietal selection; plant spacing; frost, wind, rain and snow protection; and watering.
