PORT ANGELES — Visitors to Necessities & Temptations gift shop can have photos taken with Santa while also benefiting Olympic Medical Center beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Children or families can pose with Santa and immediately be able to buy and pick up photo and Christmas card packages at the store at 217 N. Laurel St. on weekends through Dec. 23.
Photo packages range from $6 to $37, while Christmas card packages start at 20 cards for $15.
All proceeds will go to the Olympic Medical Center Foundation.
“We’re pleased to support the foundation once again,” said Edna Petersen, owner of Necessities & Temptations.
Foundation sponsor
The store is a major sponsor of many foundation events throughout the year, said Bruce Skinner, executive director of the foundation.
Santa will be available from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Saturday.
Future photo opportunities are set for 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and from noon to 6 p.m. Sundays through Dec. 23.
The lone exception is Friday, Nov. 23, when post-Thanksgiving shoppers can snap photos with Santa from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Santa will be portrayed by John Hubbard, Bill Barrett and Larry Klinefelter.
“Being able to pick up pictures at the time of purchase is a great service during the busy holiday season,” Skinner said.
“Families can have a photo with Santa taken and walk out with that photo or Christmas cards in hand.”
