PORT TOWNSEND — Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Advisory Board is seeking a volunteer representative from commissioner district #3 which includes Port Ludlow, Brinnon, Quilcene and the West End.
The board assists in the development of programs and policies concerning Jefferson County parks, reviews proposed rules, policies or ordinances and any revisions or amendments to the county’s parks, open space and recreation plan.
The board members serve for two-year terms and, currently, meet from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of even-numbered months.
