Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County hosts five-week grief support group

SEQUIM — Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County is offering a five-week grief support group series from Monday through Nov. 27.

The program is free and open to the public. Registration is required, as group size is limited.

The group will meet from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. for five Mondays at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave., Sequim.

Grief support groups provide an atmosphere of safety and acceptance in which members can share their feelings and experiences with others, gain a clearer understanding of the grieving process and acquire coping strategies and skills for the emotional pain of loss, program organizers say.

For more information or to register, call the hospice office at 360-452-1511.

Volunteer Hospice of Clallam County provides free services to terminally ill patients and their families.
