United Way of Clallam County accepts US Bank donation, announces Day of Caring

United Way will host volunteer projects in Port Angeles and Sequim,

PORT ANGELES — The United Way of Clallam County will host activities in Port Angeles and Sequim on Saturday as part of its Day of Caring.

In Port Angeles, United Way will host volunteer projects at 9:11 a.m. at the Dream Playground at Erickson Park on South Race Street, at Serenity House’s Tenth and C streets facility, and at Roosevelt Elementary School, 106 Monroe Road.

United Way of Clallam County recently accepted a donation of $5,250 from the US Bank Foundation. Bank staff will be helping with Day of Caring activities at the Dream Playground with local Kiwanis and Rotary clubs as well as volunteers from the city of Port Angeles.

In Sequim, United Way will host volunteer efforts from 9 a.m. to noon at Olympic Theatre Arts, 414 N. Sequim Ave., and at the Sequim YMCA, 1925 Blaine St., starting at 1 p.m.
