Tuesday talks scheduled for streaming

Port Townsend Public Library to sponsor a series of talks

PORT TOWNSEND — The Port Townsend Public Library will sponsor a series of talks from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesdays.

The series, which will stream live on Zoom, features presentations on a variety of topics by local community members.

Each presentation will finish up with a facilitated discussion on the evening’s topic.

The presentations include “Looking at the Costs of Racism in America,” Kendra Golden, Oct. 5; “Exploring the Mysterious Disappearance of the Indus Valley Civilization,” Anu Pujji, Oct. 12; “Public Interest Movements in the 1960s and 70s,” Ken Ing, Oct. 19; and “The Chetzemoka Trail and History of Native Americans on the Qatay Peninsula,” Celeste Dybeck and Lys Burden, Nov. 2.
