Teen leaders recognized in Port Townsend

PORT TOWNSEND — The Port Townsend Kiwanis Club named the recipients of its 18th Teen Leaders awards at a ceremony in the American Legion Hall.

The annual awards recognize service and leadership in the East Jefferson County community during the 2021 calendar year.

Cash awards in the name of the awardees are made to a local nonprofit of their choice.

• Bishop Budnek, Brinnon, nominated by Trey Beathard of Quilcene High School, donation to Brinnon Food Bank.

• Ezra Kikue Cook, Port Townsend, nominated by Brendan Chambers of Key City Public Theatre, donation to Port Townsend High School Drama Club.
