Sunday fall concert set at Pioneer Memorial Park

Modern American classics will be featured in the Sequim performance.

SEQUIM — A trio of local artists will bring an afternoon featuring the music of George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Irving Berlin and Harold Arlen to the Sequim Prairie Garden Club’s Pioneer Memorial Park on Sunday.

Pianist Al Harris, singer Jessie Lee and saxophone player Craig Buhler will perform from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Pioneer Park clubhouse at 387 E. Washington St.

Tickets are $15. Seating is limited, and tickets are first-come, first-served.

The trio will perform pieces from “The Great American Songbook,” including “Fever,” “All of Me,” “Just in Time,” “Summertime,” “Cry Me a River,“ “You’ve Changed,” “It Had to Be You,” “Let’s Fall in Love,” “Over the Rainbow,” “When I Fall in Love,” “Our Love Is Here to Stay” and “Do Nothing ‘Till You Hear From Me.”

The concert is sponsored by the Sequim Center for Spiritual Living.
