Bingo night
FORKS — West End Sportsmen will host bingo night at 7 p.m. Thursday.
The fundraiser will be at the club at 243 Sportsmen’s Club Road.
Proceeds will benefit hunter education program and the annual Kids’ Fishing Day.

Green Thumb lecture
PORT ANGELES — Leilani Wood will present “Growing in Greenhouses for Sustenance and the Soul” at noon Thursday.
This week’s Green Thumb Garden Tips lecture will only be viewable by live stream from the county commissioners chamber.
Wood will discuss which plants grow well in greenhouses and which to avoid, the conditions necessary for optimal growth and how best to control these factors in a greenhouse.

Studium Generale
PORT ANGELES — David Eisenhour will present “My Carbon Dialogue: a Brief History of How I’ve Expressed my Love for this Planet” at 12:35 p.m. Thursday.
The free lecture is part of the Studium Generale series presented in the Little Theater at Peninsula College, 1502 E. Lauridsen Blvd.
Eisenhour is a sculptor who works predominately in cast bronze.
The lecture will be followed by a reception in the PUB Gallery of Art where Eisenhour’s solo exhibit “My Carbon Dialogue” is on display.

Birding hike
SEQUIM — The Olympic Peninsula Audubon Society will host a birding hike from 8:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Thursday.
The group will meet at the south parking lot, near the dog park, in Carrie Blake Park, 202 N. Blake Ave.
Attendees might see Eurasian wigeon and other duck species as well as warblers and purple finches.

Elks bingo
