St. Andrew’s resumes in-person services

PORT ANGELES — St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church has announced the resumption of in-person worship services this week.

Scheduled services, conducted at 510 E. Park Ave., include:

• Holy Eucharist, 11 a.m. Wednesdays.

• Traditional language worship service, 8 a.m. Sundays.

• Contemporary language worship service, 10 a.m. Sundays.

Contemporary language services are also offered at 5 p.m. on the second and fourth Sundays of each month at St. Swithin’s, 50 N. Blackberry Lane, Forks.

St. Swithin’s is located within the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church.

Proof of vaccination is required for all participants except children too young to be vaccinated. All attending must wear masks and maintain physical distancing.

The 10 a.m. service on Sunday will be recorded and posted to the church’s website, www.standrewpa.org, and its Facebook page.

Plans are also being prepared for live streaming of services, according to a press release.

The church is also offering a Zoom-only service, “Praying for the World,” at 5 p.m. Saturdays.

This service includes plenty of time for quiet meditation and thoughtful discussion with a focus on the needs of the world through prayer.

For the Zoom link to this service, call Deacon Keith Dorwick at 337-735-4135 or email kdorwick@gmail.com.
