SEQUIM — Organizers of Sequim High School’s 2021 Winter Wishes assembly are seeking items and funds for the annual event.
Hosted by the leadership class at SHS, Winter Wishes is an event that offers each student an opportunity to make a “wish” for themselves and a friend, and, with generous donations from the community organizers, grant as many wishes as possible.
Donations can be dropped off at the main office at Sequim High School at 601 N. Sequim Ave., at the main office, which accepts cash, cards and checks.
Organizers are able to pick up any donations or get in contact if a contribution is not physical or monetary.
Organizers are hoping to have the contributions by Friday.
“Right now, we need community donations (preferably monetary) to pull off this event and cheer up our campus after two difficult years of learning during COVID-19,” they said in a press release.
