BLYN — United Way Clallam County is going all out for its 2022 Live United Awards, complete with a “prom” theme.
The Live United PROM and Awards Ceremony is set for 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, May 6, at Club 7 at the 7 Cedars Resort, 270756 U.S. Highway 101.
This annual fundraiser, organizers say, offers a chance to relive prom while celebrating the county’s most influential citizens.
The event features a catered dinner, refreshments, prom photos, music from a live DJ and more — including the naming of a prom King and Queen.
United Way Clallam County is also celebrating the end of the organization’s campaign year and will be honoring community members and businesses who have gone out of their way to make a difference with Live United Awards.
Cost is $80 or $150 per couple. Get tickets at unitedwayclallam.org/prom.
“We aim to make a real lasting impact in Clallam County every day,” said Jaycie Wakefield, Development Director with United Way of Clallam County.
“We do this by raising money year-round to help fund our nonprofit partner organizations who are working hard and making a difference for the people who need them. When you support the United Way, you support programs that help keep families healthy and safe, kids in school, and the most vulnerable get the services they need.”

The United Way is also seeking local businesses are interested in sponsoring the event. All donations are tax deductible and come with marketing benefits, United Way representatives said.
