RainShadow Chorale to perform Broadway tunes

PORT HADLOCK — Broadway hits will be remembered at the RainShadow Chorale on Broadway show at 4 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Saturday, May 11 at the Old Alcohol Plant.

Admission to performances at 310 Hadlock Bay Road will be suggested donations of $20 for adults and $10 for students.

Tickets can be purchased at Crossroads Music at 2100 Lawrence St. in Port Townsend, from chorale members or at the door.

This year’s spring program, conducted by Artistic Director Rebecca Rottsolk, will present variety of tunes. Among them are songs from “West Side Story,” “Hunchback of Notre Dame,” “Les Miserables,” “Cabaret,” “South Pacific” and “Man of La Mancha.”

Piano accompaniment

RainShadow Chorale will be accompanied on the piano by Linda Dowdell, an award-winning composer and arranger.

Songs will be performed by the full chorale as well as small ensembles and soloists, and will showcase the broad range of talent for which RainShadow has become known.

All of the Old Alcohol Plant’s profits support Bayside Housing.
