PORT ANGELES — At last, you can follow the Yellow Brick Road on the North Olympic Peninsula.
Curtain rises next weekend on Port Angeles Light Opera Association’s 2002 production, “The Wizard of Oz,” at the Port Angeles High School Auditorium, 304 E. Park Ave.
The production, which features lavish costuming and even windy special effects, will take to the stage on July 19, 23, 25 and 26 at 7:30 p.m., on July 21 at 2 p.m. and on July 27 at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $8 for Family Night on July 19 only. Tickets for the rest of the performances are $14 for premium center and $12 for reserved general seating. Every seat is reserved.
Tickets are available at Port Angeles Symphony office, 216 N. Laurel St., between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday, or by calling 360-457-5630.
One of the largest undertakings ever by PALOA, the production features a cast of all age ranges.
