PORT ANGELES — Summertime is the perfect time to rock out while helping conserve some local farmland.
The North Olympic Land Trust will host the second annual Rock the Land Trust at Olympic Lavender Co.’s Dungeness Heritage Farm from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday.
Admission is a $10 donation, with a portion of the proceeds benefiting the North Olympic Land Trust.
The suggested entrance fee does not include dinner and drinks.
The event will kick off with a salmon bake and barbecue from Port Angeles-based Italian restaurant Bella Italia.
At 6 p.m., Joy in Mudville — a homegrown Olympic Peninsula, Americana and progressive old-time bluegrass group — will hit the stage.
Rock the Land Trust aims to benefit the North Olympic Land Trust and its mission to conserve lands that sustain the ecological, economic and social vitality of Clallam County.
