Port Angeles Christmas tree decorations go up

Port Angeles Parks & Recreation Department employee Eli Hammel strings holiday lights on the branches of the downtown Port Angeles Christmas Tree on Tuesday at the Conrad Dyar Memorial Fountain. The tree, acquired from the Port of Port Angeles, will be adorned with about 10,000 lights and will remain lit through the holiday season. Because of COVID-19, there will be no formal ceremony to light the tree this year.
