SEQUIM

Book discussion

SEQUIM — The Novel Conversations Book Discussion Group will discuss “We Were The Lucky Ones” by Georgia Hunter at 4 p.m. Wednesday.

The group meets at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., the fourth Wednesday of each month.

Next month the group will discuss “The Goldfinch” by Donna Tartt.

PIT meeting

PORT TOWNSEND — An organizational meeting is planned at 3 p.m. Wednesday for people interested in volunteering to assist with the 2020 Point in Time homeless count.

The meeting will be in the conference room at Olympic Community Action Programs (OlyCAP) offices at 731 W. Park Ave.

The national PIT count is scheduled for Jan. 23.

Formal PIT training will be conducted in January in advance of the count.

Story Slam

PORT TOWNSEND — The Church of BuVu will sponsor PT Story Slam from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The free storytelling event will be at Discovery Bay Brewing, 948 N. Park Ave.

Stories are limited to 5 to 6 minutes in length.
