PORT ANGELES — The Michael Trebert Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Clallam County Veterans Association will present commemorative lapel pins to Vietnam-era military veterans at 2 p.m. Sunday.
The public ceremony will be outside the Northwest Veterans Resource Center, 216 S. Francis St.
Clallam County Commissioner Randy Johnson will be the guest speaker.
Anyone who served on active duty between Nov. 1, 1955 and May 15, 1975, regardless of location, is eligible; surviving spouses and family members will be honored as well.

The chapter plans to conduct semi-annual ceremonies through 2025 to recognize veterans from the Vietnam era.
