With just three weeks left to finish holiday shopping, a variety of North Olympic Peninsula bazaars and fairs offer everything from stocking-stuffers to larger gifts and even Christmas trees.
PORT ANGELES
Christmas Fair
PORT ANGELES — About 40 vendors will sell handcrafted items at the two-day Vern Burton Christmas Fair.
Admission will be free to the fair, set from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, at the Vern Burton Community Center, 308 E. Fourth St.
The place will be decked out in lights and with Christmas trees, said Rob Merritt, city of Port Angeles facilities and events coordinator, who organized the fair.
Items for sale will include jewelry, pottery, wooden bowls, ornaments, wreaths and gifts.
Merritt said the sale benefits the local economy because most of the vendors live on the North Olympic Peninsula.

Christmas bazaar
PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles branch of the North Olympic Library System will host its annual Christmas bazaar from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. today and Saturday.
The free bazaar will take place at the library, 2210 S. Peabody St.
There will be a large selection of Christmas gift baskets, a toy area for children, baked goods and fully decorated Christmas trees for sale.
Santa Claus will make a special appearance from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
All proceeds will support the library’s children’s programs.
SEQUIM
Soroptimist Gala
SEQUIM — More than 40 vendors will offer a variety of goods at the fifth annual Gala Gift Show, hosted by Soroptimist International of Sequim on Saturday.
The show will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sequim unit of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Olympic Peninsula, 400 W. Fir St.
Admission and parking are free.
“Looking for unique and elegant holiday gifts, See’s Candies or delicious homemade baked items? This year, get most of your holiday shopping completed in one day at one location,” said Deb Carlson, co-chair, in a news release.
Items for sale will include home decor, clothing, jewelry and accessories, culinary and food items, health and beauty products, pet items, children’s books, artwork and photography.
Raffle items and door prizes are planned.
Homemade goodies and baked items will be for sale as well as holiday-wrapped boxes of See’s Candies.
Hearty soup will be served.
The show is one of the Sequim Soroptimists’ primary fundraisers. Proceeds go to scholarships and support organizations and activities that improve the lives of girls and women, Carlson said.

Craft fair
SEQUIM — The Sequim Prairie Grange will host the 38th annual Handmade Craft Fair from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The free bazaar will take place at the grange, 290 Macleay Road.
All the items for sale will be handmade.
Lunch will be available in addition to a baked goods table.
BRINNON
Craft fair
BRINNON — The Dosey Dux Holiday Craft Fair will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
The craft fair will be in the Brinnon Booster Club building, 151 Corey Lane.
Crafts, food, gifts, swag, centerpieces and photos with Santa are planned.
Boy Scouts will sell wreaths and the Brinnon Parent-Teacher Organization will have a gift-wrapping table set up.
