A variety of organizations across the North Olympic Peninsula will host their annual plant sales next weekend.
It presents gardeners the opportunity to get starts and fully grown plants while supporting a variety of nonprofit organizations.
• Jefferson County Master Gardeners
The Jefferson County Master Gardeners and Food Bank Growers 2024 Plant Sale is open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 4, in the multi-purpose room at Chimacum High School, 91 West Valley Road.
The master gardeners have hostas, small trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals, ground covers, tomatoes, fruits and succulents while the Food Bank Growers bring a wide variety of vegetable starts to the table.
The sale will also host several vendors including the Port Townsend Garden Center, Secret Gardens Nursery, Chimacum Woods rhododendron nursery and Kul Kah Han Native Plant Garden.
Proceeds will support Jefferson County Master Gardener programs and the Food Bank Growers’ gardens which serve food banks across East Jefferson County.
• Clallam County Master Gardeners
The Master Gardener Foundation of Clallam County Spring Plant Sale is open from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 4, then will reopen at 1 p.m., after a short break to prep the half-price, until 3 p.m. at the Woodcock Demonstration Gardens, 2711 Woodcock Road, Sequim.
The sale features perennials, veggies and herb starts, native plants, gardening gifts and gently used tools and supplies.
Additionally, tickets for the 2024 Petals and Pathways Garden Tour, set for Saturday, June 22, will be available for $20 each.
Proceeds support the Woodcock Demonstration Garden in Sequim, the Fifth Street Community Garden in Port Angeles and the master gardeners’ Youth Enrichment Program in local schools.

• The 12th Plant-a- Palooza
The 12th Plant-a-Palooza is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 5, at the Swan School, 2345 Kuhn St., Port Townsend.
The annual sale features annual flowers, succulents, edibles, locally grown strawberries and hanging baskets full of seasonal bloomers.
Swan students will also host a bake sale and hot dogs fresh off the grill and conduct a silent auction for prizes donated by members of the community.

• Sequim Garden Club
The Sequim Prairie Garden Club’s Spring Garden Sale is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at Pioneer Memorial Park, 387 E. Washington St., Sequim.
The sale features annuals, succulents, house plants, perennials, bulbs, vegetable starts, garden arts and baked goods.
Proceeds from the sale support the maintenance of Pioneer Memorial Park.
Other organizations with upcoming plants sales include the TriArea Garden Club on Saturday, May 11; the Port Angeles Garden Club on Saturday, May 18; and the Quilcene Brinnon Garden Club on Saturday, May 25.
