Peninsula libraries host outdoor storytimes through Oct. 30

The North Olympic Library System offers Rain or Shine! Outdoor Storytime events for children and their caregivers, set through Oct. 30 at Sequim and Port Angeles public libraries and in Forks.

Storytimes are held on Tuesdays at 10:30 a.m. in the field behind the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave., at 10:30 a.m. Thursdays on the lawn outside of the children’s area at the Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., and at 10:30 a.m. on Fridays at Tillicum Park in Forks.

The all-ages storytime features stories, music, rhymes and plenty of movement, organizers say.

The programs take place rain or shine. Each attendees is encouraged to bring a blanket to sit on and a way to keep dry if it’s rainy. Masks are urged for everyone ages 2 and older.

This program is supported by Friends of the Library groups at all four libraries the North Olympic Library System oversees: Port Angeles, Sequim, Forks and Clallam Bay.

For more information, email youth@nols.org, visit nols.org, call 360-417-8500 or follow North Olympic Library System on social media.
