Peninsula College names student leadership team

PORT ANGELES — Peninsula College has named its 2020-21 student leadership team.

Kascia Muscutt, of Leavenworth, will serve as the 61st president of the college’s Associated Student Council.

Muscutt replaces Katelyn Sheldon, of Port Angeles, who graduates in June.

Tommylia Dunbar, of Vancouver Island, and Mackenzie Huotari, of Cheney, will serve as student body vice presidents.

All three students will earn scholarships of about $5,000 each.

The other members of the council include: Yuen Tung Lee, of Hong Kong, director of records and finance; Raeshawna Ware, of Spanaway, director of environmental affairs; Alysia Alvarado, of Sherwood, Ore., director of clubs; director of Marketing Hana Sugait, of Depok, Indonesia; Sam Brocato, of Leesville, La., director of public relations; Musuai Isaia of Oahu, Hawaii, director of event planning; and Cecelia Jenkins, of Ewa Beach, Hawaii, director of event facilitation.

These seven students will each receive about $2,500 in leadership scholarships.
