North Olympic Peninsula artists have been chosen for inclusion in the 2018 annual Washington State Juried Art Competition and Show — the CVG show — in Bremerton.
The exhibit will open at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Collective Visions Gallery at 331 Pacific Ave., in downtown Bremerton.
People’s Choice voting will begin at that time. A reception and awards ceremony will be from 5 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. Saturday at the Kitsap Conference Center, 100 Washington Ave., Bremerton.
Port Townsend artists are Philip Carrico, Gina Cox, Stephen Cunliffe, Brian Goodman, Newel Hunter, Harold Nelson, Mitchel Osborn, Kim Simonelli, Mark Twain Stevenson, Mike Topogna, Linda Tilley and Nancy Van Allen.
Sequim artists Terri Biondolino, Suzanne Eller, Scott Erickson, Marilynn Evans, Mary Marsh and David C. Willis were recently chosen for inclusion in the 2018 CVG Show in Bremerton’s Collective Visions Gallery.
Chimacum artist Janet Tarjan-Erl also will exhibit in the show.
The artists were selected by jurors Paula Stokes, Teresa Saia and Harry Longstreet from nearly 300 artists and 900 works of art.
Those selected are eligible for more than $10,000 in cash prizes going to 10 artists including “Best of Show Mayor’s Award” for $1,500.
The show will be on view through Feb. 24. The gallery is open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
