Olympic Unitarian to present TED Talks on depression

PORT ANGELES — Olympic Unitarian Universalist Fellowship will host “TED Talks: Facing Depression” from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday.

The free program is in the fellowship hall at 1033 N. Barr Road.

The program will include three or four TED Talk videos, each followed by a discussion.

The program includes “Depression: The Secret We Share” by Andrew Solomon; “Don’t Suffer from Your Depression in Silence” by Nikki Webber Allen; “How to Discover Your ‘Why’ in Difficult Times” by Simon Sinek; and “What’s So Funny About Mental Illness?” by Ruby Wax.
