PORT ANGELES — The Rev. Ken Macklin has joined First United Methodist Church as its new senior pastor.
He replaces the Rev. Tom Steffen, who retired June 30 after 46 years of ministry.
Macklin comes to Port Angeles from the Tracyton United Methodist Church in Bremerton.
Macklin has been a professor at Trinity College of Graduate Studies in Anaheim, Calif., and still serves as an adjunct professor with California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
The church, located at 110 E. Seventh St, conducts worship services at 10 a.m. Sundays.
