Lightning appears to strike in the Strait of Juan de Fuca north of the Hoko River State Park in Sekiu.
The image was captured as a still taken from cellphone video just before sunset during Sunday’s storm.
Highs on the North Olympic Peninsula are forecast to reach the mid-70s Tuesday, but showers are likely to return Thursday and Friday, according to the National Weather Service in Seattle.
