■ Today at Castaways Restaurant and Night Club, 1213 Marine Drive, sing and pick country-style at the jam hosted by High Country from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
On Saturday, get your best costume and head down to Castaways for its Halloween Costume Party (it wasn’t last week, as I misreported), hosted by MLR (Moderately Loud Rock) from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. There’ll be best-costume prizes and more.
■ At the Junction Roadhouse, 242701 U.S. Highway 101, Wednesdays through the NFL football season will feature Jason Mogi and Paul Stehr-Green headlining Deadwood Experiment at 8 p.m.
■ On Friday at Wine on the Waterfront, 115 Railroad Ave., the award-winning belly-dancing troupe Shula Azhar hits the floor at 7:30 p.m.
On Saturday, WOW welcomes back the dynamic jazz duo of Linda Dowdell and Craig Buhler, with special guest Taylor Ackley on bass. The show starts at 7:30 p.m. $3 cover.
■ Justin Scott Rivet goes solo Mondays from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Bar N9ne, 229 W. First St.
■ On Friday, Les Wamboldt and Olde Tyme Country play and sing the old songs at the Fairmount Restaurant, 1127 W. U.S. Highway 101, from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

■ Every Tuesday at the Port Angeles Senior Center, 328 E. Seventh St., the Port Angeles Senior Swingers present Wally’s Boys playing ballroom dance favorites from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. $5 cover; first-timers free.
■ At Dupuis Restaurant, 256861 U.S. Highway 101, Bob and Dave play blues Wednesday through Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

■ On Friday at the Oasis Bar and Grill, 301 E. Washington St., the Discovery Bay Pirates sing sea chanteys at 5:30 p.m.
On Saturday, Testify rocks in a benefit from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. for the family of 11-year-old Violet O’Dell, who sadly succumbed to brain cancer last Friday. With a $5 cover, all proceeds will go to help the family pay for hospital and funeral expenses.
On Wednesday, the Blue Hole Quintet plays jazz from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
■ On Friday at Rainshadow Coffee Roasting, 157 W. Cedar St., recent transplant from Santa Fe, N.M., Eileen Meyer sings in concert with Grammy award-winning guitarist/producer Larry Mitchell from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Donations for musicians are appreciated. Limited seating.
■ It’s “All the Buzz” Wednesday at the Sequim Senior Activity Center, 921 E. Hammond St., with Kelly and Victor hosting the open mic from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
■ On Friday at Stymie’s Bar & Grill at Cedars at Dungeness, 1965 Woodcock Road, Al Haris entertains from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
■ On Friday in Club Seven Lounge at 7 Cedars Casino, Blyn, Triple Shot plays a tribute to rock ‘n’ roll from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
On Saturday, Rhythm Nation, a slick, high-powered dance band, will get you moving and grooving on the dance floor from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.

■ On Saturday at the Ajax Cafe, 271 Water St., Mick and Barry play classic rock and folk from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

■ On Friday at the Upstage, 923 Washington St., enjoy the Latin jazz of Porto Alegre, featuring Robin Bessier, vocals; Skip Morris, guitar and vocals; John MacElwee, bass; Bill Kiely, percussion; and Tom Svornich, drums. They will get you mamboing at 7:30 p.m. $10 cover.
On Saturday, there are two acts: Whitefort from Russia playing a hybrid of rock, jazz and folk with a Russian ethnic pulse; and Roberta Donnay and the Prohibition Mob Band. The music starts at 7:30 p.m. The first 10 patrons who come in a Roaring ’20s period costume will receive a secret present from Roberta. $10 cover.
On Sunday, it’s the Doug Daniels Memorial and an evening of music at 6 p.m. No cover.
On Wednesday, Stacy Earl and Mark Stuart from Nashville, Tenn., draw from blues, pop, country, rock and more in their original acoustic music at 7:30 p.m. $15 cover.
