PORT HADLOCK — The Jefferson County Library will host “How Do Nuclear Reactors Fit Our Need for Electricity Production?” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
The free weekly discussion series will stream on Zoom.
The program, part of the Climate Change and Clean Energy series, will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of nuclear power, safety issues, current status and why nuclear power may be necessary.
The team of presenters includes Steve Blake, David Blessing, Chelcie Liu, Dave Clive, Gary Nelson and Doug Rodgers.
Future presentations in the series are “Bringing Clean Energy to Everyone” on Thursday, Feb. 10, and a series wrapup Feb. 17.
