Jean Lenke & Friends play ‘live’ at Fort Worden

PORT TOWNSEND — Crossover jazz-folk fusion artist Jean Lenke will perform live virtually in Port Townsend at 7:30 p.m. today.

She will be joined by George Radebaugh on piano, Ted Enderle on bass, Tom Svornich on drums and Ed Donahue on trumpet.

The two-hour performance from the Rainshadow Recording Studio at Fort Worden can be seen at www.facebook.com/rain shadow/live. It is free but donations will be accepted; a link will appear on the Facebook page during the performance.

The concert will remain on the site for a while for those who are unable to see it live.

A veteran of the music scene in Philadelphia with the Jean Therapy Music projects, Lenke is a performing artist, composer, lyricist and bandleader who “combines the joy of her parents’ music of the 1940s together with the spirit of the folk and jazz/rock fusion,” she said.
